Ross has more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, guiding organizations and individuals through the world of risk management.

In 1998, Ross began working with a well-established insurance agency in Long Beach. He assisted the Employees Benefit Manager in reviewing renewals with clients and addressing service issues. The book was eventually divided, and he serviced a book of employee benefits. During his tenure there, he transitioned to the marketing side of retirement plans. His role consisted of servicing a Retirement plan book of business and marketing administration services to brokers.

Ross was one of the first brokers to start introducing managed accounts to retirement plans. This skill opens the door for him to begin working with a prominent brokerage firm in Santa Barbara. He worked as a servicing broker for 401k plans. He was involved in conducting plan installations, vendor conversions, investment review and plan review. Ross was also able to enroll $20M dollars in managed account business within retirement plans.

After his time at the Santa Barbara Agency, Ross began working for the 401k division, a large insurance company. He managed a large book of business that covered 3 states and over $400M in retirement assets. He aided clients in addressing plan implementations, 401k mergers and deconversions, plan & Investment reviews.

Following the recession in 2008, Ross decided that he could use his unique skills and start his own agency. He saw the need for employers to have access to an advisor that understood not only group benefits but also new all the details of a retirement plan. The three pillars of a retirement plan are the administration company, the insurance company and the broker, and Ross has experience with all three.

In addition to holding an insurance license, he also maintains a securities license. His securities license is registered with PlanMember Securities. As a registered representative at PlanMember, Ross is able to assist individuals seek solutions for their financial needs. His expertise allows him to guide clients through creating a plan to address their short-term and long-term financial needs. This includes saving for your child's college tuition, purchasing a home, saving for retirement and estate planning.

Due to his background, the city of Glendora appointed Ross to the Investment Advisory Committee. The role of the committee was to review the city's investment holdings and to assure the city complied with the policy statement that was drafted by the city charter. Ross served two terms.

He is happily married with two sons and a dog. In his spare time, Ross enjoys playing golf and fishing with his children.
